A flood, a rescue, and a ledger worth saving.

Last Shift at Brinewheel Mill is a compact, system-neutral location scenario for a game master and players using an RPG system they already know. A stuck relief pin, a closed bypass and a stranded apprentice turn a routine evening into a set of choices.

In the USD 3 download

  • A six-page GM guide: eight keyed locations, three NPCs, a visible flood clock, four clue sources, two rescue routes, complications and endings.
  • A one-page player handout.
  • Four PNG maps: GM/player, with and without grid. Each is 2240 x 1400 pixels (32 x 20 squares at 70 pixels).
  • Four editable SVG maps, a plain-text room key, README, license and file manifest.

Read the free two-page preview before buying. The preview contains the premise, map overview, one keyed room and a sample of the clock procedure; it is not the full GM guide.

Know the scope

This is a supplement, not a standalone RPG: bring your own rules and GM judgement. There are no game-specific stat blocks, native VTT modules or dynamic-lighting walls. PNG dimensions and PDF layout were checked; VTT imports have not been tested. Session length and balance have not been measured in a human playtest. This is review build 0.1, offered as an in-development scenario.

AI assisted the text, code, vector graphics and layout. No third-party art, maps, rules text or samples are bundled. No claim of being hand-drawn or made without AI.

Use permission

Print, edit and display the files in private games, paid hosted games and actual-play streams. Do not resell or redistribute the source files, including modified map packs. No recurring subscription, custom work, promised updates or engine integration is included. Read LICENSE.txt in the download.
